How We Work
One of the benefits of choosing a small law firm to handle your legal problems is that you receive direct access to a veteran attorney. Mr. LaFevor personally handles all legal aspects of his clients' cases. Mr. LaFevor has built a reputation as a lawyer who pays close attention to his clients' concerns — and who crafts practical legal solutions that fit each person's unique circumstances.
Through in-depth understanding of your situation, we tailor our services to your needs. Our goal is not just to represent our clients in one legal concern, but to also maintain productive, long-term relationships to deal with future legal problems, should they arise.
What It Costs
At the law office of James R. LaFevor, we are committed to providing professional legal services for reasonable rates. We offer all potential new clients a free, no-pressure 30-minute consultation. At the end of that meeting, we will provide you with a clear statement of the likely cost of representation. We will also give you a timeline for the proceedings, so you know how long it will take to resolve your legal questions.
We handle some cases for a flat fee. For other matters, we charge on an hourly basis. We represent all personal injury clients on a contingency fee basis, which means we do not collect attorney fees unless and until our client collects an insurance settlement or jury award.
We also offer discounts for active-duty military members. Mr. LaFevor understands the difficulties faced by members of the military and their family members, because he served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971. He was stationed in both Germany and Vietnam, and was ranger qualified and airborne qualified.
